Hello
I'm Sharon Amesu, award winning inspirational speaker, corporate trainer and facilitator.
My Story
I didn't start out as an executive coach.
I started out as a Criminal Barrister.
For sixteen years I stood in rooms where everything was at stake. Where the quality of an argument, the precision of a word, the ability to read a room and hold it could mean the difference between someone's freedom and their imprisonment.
I learned things in those rooms that no leadership programme has ever taught me. And no leadership programme ever could.
I learned that authority isn't performed. It's claimed.
I learned that the most powerful person in the room isn't always the loudest. They're the clearest.
I learned that a room can change in an instant when one person chooses to be fully present, fully honest, and deeply human.
And I learned that most people brilliant, capable, accomplished people are operating at a fraction of their power. Not because they lack the ability. But because nobody has ever shown them precisely where their leadership stops being felt the way it deserves.
That's what I left the Bar to do.
Not to build a coaching business. But to close that gap. For the women who have been delivering at an exceptional level their entire careers and still find themselves invisible in the rooms that decide everything.
I know her. I have sat across from her in boardrooms and leadership programmes and discovery calls for years. I have watched her over-prepare, over-explain and over-deliver. I have watched her edit herself down to a size the room finds comfortable. I have watched her walk out of meetings questioning herself not because she was wrong, but because nothing shifted.
And I have watched her transform.
Not into someone different. Into herself. Fully. Finally.
That transformation is The Permission Rule. The belief drawn from the legal concept of Right of Audience, that every senior woman has an inherent right to be heard, received and recognised at the level she operates. Not earned. Not granted. Inherent.
The work we do together is the work of claiming it.
I am a former criminal barrister. An executive coach. A keynote speaker. A LinkedIn Learning author with over 70,000 course completions. A board member and A mother.
I'm someone who has stood in high-stakes rooms her entire career and learned precisely what it takes to hold them.
And I am here to make sure you never have to learn it the hard way.
If you're ready to be undeniable, let's begin.
